Dr. Martens- Iconic Footwear LOVE.

Dr. Martens (or Docs ;) are possibly the most iconic footwear fashion has ever seen.

Created by Dr. Klaus Märtensback in World War II, the popularity of Dr. Martens has continued to soar. Released in 1960 in England, they celebrated their 50th anniversary this April (with sales of over 100 million so far)!

Worn by fashionistas, punks & celebrities alike, Dr. Martens are a very important staple wardrobe piece! ;)

I absolutely ADORE these:

Classic 8 Eyelet Boot. 1460z - White Patent, £59.99- Cloggs.

As Seen On Supermodel Agyness Deyn!

Another celebrity who LOVES to rock the Dr. Martens, is the amazing Gwen Stefani's stepdaughter, IT girl & model- Daisy Lowe.

14 Eyelet Boot. 1B99 - Black Buttero, £64.99 (RRP £85!)- Cloggs.

I'm a HUGE fan of the longer style too! These are so awesome. Not only great with skirts/dresses, they would also look fab with a pair of skinnies! YUM.

Check out Daisy behind the scenes of the Dr. Martens shoot. She talks about her LOVE for Docs:

As a girl who likes to stand out in a crowd, I do appreciate the GOLD awesome-ness of these Docs:

Classic 8 Eyelet Boot. 1460 - Hot Gold, £49.99-Cloggs.

Utterly fabulous.

Alexa Chung, Lady Gaga, Emily Blunt & Chloe Sevigny have also been spotted rockin' their favourite Docs! HOWEVER it's important to note that Dr Martens aren't just for women...

My future husband & international heartthrob, Robert Pattinson LOVES his Dr. Martens! He's been spotted on various occasions wearing the same ones...

One of the great things about Docs is their durability. You can literally wear them for 5 years and they still wont fall apart. Hard core!

Classics. 1460z, Black Smooth, £59.99-Cloggs.
Dress your man like Robert Pattinson. Ah nom nom ;)

So there you have it. Dr. Martens are uber hot and you can never have too many pairs...They are virtually indestructible aswell ;)

For an extensive range & a lower than RRP price,Cloggs have a superb collection!

Some recent bakes...

Blueberry muffins. I cant even tell you how proud I am of these. I used a recipe from the Magnolia Bakery Cookbook. I was expecting a disaster...They taste SO good! They literally lasted 2 minutes :D

Its SO my favourite cookbook right now :) Ive also made delicious brownies & cookies from it! :D

My mum always goes on at me because I use "american" recipes and she prefers "english recipes"...SO today I decided to bake a coconut cake using an english recipe.

NOW coconut cake is my mums speciality. It took me about 10mins to sift through some online recipes and I went with the one with the strangest method (ofcourse).

This was the result:

Now it may not look like much (lets be honest, regular coconut cakes never look pretty) BUT...Wow! It tastes SOOOOOOOOOO good :D Nom Nom indeed! There isnt much left :S Its ridiculously more-ish. Its just so light and spongey. Needless to say my mother had to accept defeat, she LOVES it.

Im not sure what to bake next...I think it should be something chocolatey in celebration of it being National Chocolate Week! :D

Ive been SO busy lately ;) BLAME my twitter addiction.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Conny at Love Hearts and Crosses! :) I was actually the winner of their last competition- whoop whoop :D <3
